Music in Madison, WI
Class Project
I created a 45–60 second TikTok-style video that used digital media affordances to engage viewers and spark conversation. My project, “Bring More Music Artists to Madison,” highlighted the lack of major touring acts in Madison compared to cities like Milwaukee and Chicago. Using a casual, influencer-style tone, I encouraged students to think about how we can strengthen the local music scene through venue support, student involvement, and artist outreach. I edited the video in Canva, combining storytelling, performance, and quick, attention-grabbing visuals to create a polished and persuasive final piece.

Class Project
This class project was to make a short one minute music video with a story. My story was a couple where the boyfriend is caught cheating and gaslights his girlfriend into believing his innocence. The story focusses on manipulation and dependence. Adobe Premiere Pro was used for editing.
